Our mission to support our clients and challenged adults includes supporting our caregivers and families taking care of their loved ones. At the Aramingo Adult Day Care, we see every day the compassionate hearts, physical effort and the attitude and mentality it takes to be a good caregiver — and it starts with taking care of the self.

Our new Caregiver Connection Program provides opportunities for all caregivers in our community to learn, share, connect with others and enjoy a little respite time. We provide a monthly Caregiver Support Group, usually held on the Xth of each month. The monthly Caregiver Support Group allows for time to share and even learn with other caregivers, who have similar challenges and graces in their lives as they care for someone they love.

In addition to our support group and activities, we also offer a broad range of trainings and resource opportunities throughout the year for caregivers and the aging population in conjunction with other community agencies and stakeholders including Philadelphia County Office of Aging.
